Plasma fibroblast

As we age, the dermal layer thins & less collagen is produced, the elastin fibres which provide elasticity wear out and all these changes in the scaffolding of the skin cause it to wrinkle and sag. In simple terms, our skin loses laxity and texture as we grow older. It becomes loose, it sags, and lines and wrinkles appear. Plasma therapy targets fibroblasts. These are collagen and protein producing cells in the dermis the layer of skin just below your outermost skin layer. Fibroblasts play an important role in helping skin wounds heal as well as maintaining skin firmness and tightness.

Plasma Fibroblast is a non-surgical procedure. This revolutionary skin tightening & facial rejuvenation procedure can create similar effects as surgical options without ever having to go under the knife.

By applying a high-frequency electric current to the skin, the pen-like device doesn’t pierce nor touch the skin but releases currents close to the skin which creates small holes in the skin’s layer.

This non-invasive treatment is great for tightening skin and dedicated to reducing the signs of ageing of the face and body, the most popular being an eyelift.

Your tissues will retract and tighten, providing you with a more youthful-looking appearance. Skin elasticity and tightening will continue to improve as time goes on post-treatment, and your skin continues to heal and repair.

you should notice results immediately after your appointment. As cell turnover occurs and the production of collagen increases, you’ll notice further changes to your skin. You should expect to see the full results of your treatment after around three months.

Can also be used to remove skin tags and moles.

This is a question that is hard to answer without a consultation where we can assess the area and have a conversation with yourself about your expectations. On average 2 treatments are recommended. However, once we can see the area, this may differ.
Most people have no problem with the plasma and say nothing is really felt during the treatment as the numbing cream has done its job! However, this depends on the client’s pain threshold and sensitivity levels. If someone was uncomfortable during the treatment, we offer regular tea/coffee and biscuit breaks as well as a second numbing cream as we want the client as comfortable as possible. ( knumbing cream will need to be applied by yourself before the treatment starts)
It is recommended staying out of the sun for as long as possible before and after the treatment. This is usually between 6-12 weeks depending on the amount of sun, spf will also need to be applied on the area for this period.
